1.  How do I cancel my membership? Rascals has one of the MOST lenient cancellation policies in the industry! In order to cancel your membership, and stop billing for the 15th of that month the club requires notification in writing by the 1st of the preceding month by certified mail only. For example: If you want to stop your membership and not be billed for the January 15th billing, we would need to receive a written cancellation by December 1st.  If written cancellation is received after December 1st you would be billed January 15th and allowed to utilize the facility until February 14th.

All cancellations will be charged a twenty-five ($25) dollar processing fee that is due upon membership termination and surrendering your membership card. Certified Mail all cancellation notices to Rascals Fitness 58 Glocker Way Pottstown Pa. 19465 or Rascals Fitness 463 West Ridge Pike Limerick Pa. 19468.  We have provided a link to a cancellation form for your convenience!(Link)  

2.  Can I cancel by email, phone call, or by telling the front desk attendant? No. Refer to question #1.  

3.  Can I freeze my membership? No. Due to our pricing being so low even if you miss 3 or 4 months at Rascals it is less expensive than to cancel and then return! We have a membership option that can be cancelled every month if you do not want a long-term agreement.  

4.  What is the “Equipment Maintenance fee"? A fee charged once a year to help control costs of maintaining the health club. Rascals has one of the lowest fees in the industry! This also allows us to keep our monthly fee low.        

5.  Does my guest have membership privileges? No. You must sign them in at the front desk when they arrive, and when you leave the club they must also leave. They are not a member and therefore have NO privileges, but are allowed to exercise with you as your guest!  

6.  How do I create a Rascal online account?  

Select your club location below:

-Click (“New Users click here to create an account”)

-Enter your "Last name"

-Enter one of the following:

        ·      Your "6-digit member number" OR "Your number on the back of your key tag" 

-Click “continue”

-Enter a “login name” you want

-Enter a “password”

-Enter “email address”

-Click “I agree to the terms and conditions”

-Click “sign up”

7.  How can I update my billing information?

 Select your club location below:

-Log In  (New Users – Create an Account see FAQ 7)

-Click "Billing Info"

-Click "Edit" -Warning, Place a checkmark in the box.

-Click "OK"

-Enter New billing information

-Click "OK" “Electronic Signature Required”

-Click "OK" “Attention” Click "OK"

8.  How do I pay my account balance?   

Select your club location below:

-Log In  (New Users – Create an Account see FAQ 7).

-Click "Overview".

-Beside "AR BALANCE" click "PAY BALANCE NOW"

-Enter your credit card information.

-Click "Submit Payment".

-Print your "payment confirmation" and keep a copy for your records.

-Click "OK" "NOTE" 

-Your "Overview page" will continue to show your balance owed UNTIL Rascals has processed the payment. This could take up to 48 hours.

09.  How do I receive a "print out" for my insurance reimbursement?

10.  What is the minimum age requirement to be a member?

14 years of age with an adult present. Under 14 years old we would like to speak to the child and the parent. We have made a few exceptions depending on the individual case. Please ask the front desk to schedule this meeting. Anyone under 16 years of age must participate in a "personal training session" to make sure they understand safe exercise practices. Anyone under 18 years of age can not sign a contract and a parent or guardian must "sign the membership agreement". If you are 16 years old or above, you may exercise without adult supervision.  

11.  What are the Rascals Rules?

-Always be courteous to other members, (remember…we all want to get into shape and we at RASCALS reserve the right to determine who is a RASCAL) -No dropping or throwing weights, (if you’re that strong you can place them down gently!) -Clean the equipment when you are through, (no one likes a messy machine!) -Place your weights back on the rack when finished (we are not your mother) -No screaming grunting or yelling (do I need to explain?) -No children in the facility. -Smile and have a good time!  

12.  What is a House Account? All Rascal members can “charge” a purchase to their account at the front desk, and then be billed on the 15th of the month with their membership dues! This is a fantastic benefit and many of our members will charge a "drink" or "T-shirt" to their account and not have to pay until their membership dues are charged.  

13.  Do you have childcare? No.  

14.  Why was I charged a late fee? Rascals will only charge you a $20 late fee when your account is returned by our billing company.  Rascals will try to email and call you if there is a problem with your account. If you never respond, and we do not receive payment you are subject to an additional Late Fee.  

15.  Can I bring a guest? YES, with our “premium membership” plan  

16.  What personal training packages do you offer? We have many packages starting from as little as 1 session to as many as 12 session packages. The best way to get started in a new exercise program is to purchase a session with a trainer. See front desk for details.  

17.  What is Activtrax? ActivTrax is a “virtual personal training system” given to ALL Rascal members for FREE. It can track your diet as well as provide you with a custom workout plan everyday! Click on the ActivTrax link.  http://www.activtrax.com/about.php?topic=3   

18.  Do you have tanning? YES, with our “premium membership” plan.  

19.  What makes "Rascals" different from other value clubs? Our smiles and friendly faces, and of course you!  

20.  What do I need to bring with me to work out and what is your "dress code?"? Bring your smile and friendly face! Also, proper exercise attire: NO Jeans, Baggy pants, Flannel shirts, belts, work boots, dress shoes, cut off shirts, or muscle shirts. Sneakers and exercise clothing must be worn at all times.

23.  Do you have group exercise classes? No, but we do offer “small group training” (SGT) classes for a small additional fee. See front desk for details.  

24.  What is your club philosophy? A “RASCAL”understands that in order to enjoy life they need to do whatever it takes to “participate”!
